Radio Control Dalek Thay, with damaged casing from his sacrifice to his
leader in New York, has authentic 360 degree travel, flashing lights
and speech.
Dalek Thay
appeared in the episodes Daleks in Manhattan and Evolution of the
Daleks. The concept was that the Daleks had been reduced from a mighty
empire to just three of their kind, clearly their attempt for universal
destination was not only doomed, but so was the Dalek race, together
with their concept of Dalek supremacy.
So, as you do, Dalek Thay
and his companions decided to create human hybrids, new Daleks that
were part human, part Dalek. Inevitably though, the good Doctor,
thwarted their plans. This Dalek Thay is recreated from those episodes.
Dalek Thay is a good,
affordable Dalek toy that whilst probably not a collector's item, is a
worthy addition to any collection of Doctor Who toys. Dalek Thay
has automated head & eye movement with poseable gun and arm. Requires 4
x AA batteries and 1 x 9V battery. Styles may vary. For ages 5 years
plus.
