Doctor Who Radio Control K9
Now, if we're perfectly honest, we don't really like K9, but can understand his appeal. When K9 first started appearing in Doctor Who stories featuring Tom Baker, the scriptwriters became lazy, with K9 always turning up in the nick of time to save the Doctor and his companions from almost impossible situations.
So instead of the old cliff-hangers lost to the new series, you no longer wondered what would happen next, you just new good ol' K9 would save the day, just like he did in the Doctor Who episode Stolen Earth and again in the Sarah Jane Adventures.
AS noted K9 has recently appeared in the last but one Doctor Who series featuring David Tennant and secured a regular role in the Sarah Jane Adventures until the untimely death of Elisabeth Sladen brought early closure to that program. There are rumours that K9 is to appear in his own spin off TV series. Now although we're not a fan of the K9 character, this radio control K9 is something else!
Its a proper walking talking radio control toy dog modelled on K9 that even talks! Oh, and its nose can also be used as a weapon. A great, indeed an essential addition, to any serious Doctor Who toys collection!
